A total investment of CHF 30 million to transform a historic building in Chiasso into a new ecosystem dedicated to innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
On 7 October 2026, the new Lifestyle Innovation Hub was officially inaugurated in Chiasso. The project brings together companies, investors, startups, academia and institutions with the aim of fostering new connections and creating opportunities for local growth.
Alpha Square Invest, together with A++ Group and Dagorà, is contributing to the project through a total investment of CHF 30 million, supporting the redevelopment of the former Credit Suisse headquarters in Piazza Indipendenza. The six-storey building, spanning over 10,000 m², has been transformed into a new hub for a national and international business community.
The Hub aims to be much more than a physical space: it is an ecosystem open to innovation, where businesses, talent, investors and institutions can connect, develop partnerships, share expertise and turn ideas and research into tangible projects.
Technology and artificial intelligence are at the heart of the project, with a focus on the Travel, Hospitality & Leisure, Design and Media sectors. These are areas in which Ticino can develop new opportunities for collaboration between businesses, research and capital.
